This Good Life

I’ve lived out a life of dreams and when they blossomed into real life.
The people I loved turned and their backs and ran
Left to the rain, and hope in a greater plan.
Pain has shown me what happiness is.
Poverty shown me just how rich I am
Loniness showed me the power of love
With all the darkness of losing so much
I could have everything yet not what I need.
The hardest part is losing my life to find what I can have.
What a ride it is in this good life.
