The Religion Illusion

Created to be unique, to build our talents upon Christ

Christianity calls for unity but not uniformity

Churches have taken view points and judge them wrong and worldly

The greatest deception is we should have rules over relation

There’s a difference between opening up to the spirit and acting insane

Living the good life won’t bring heaven to earth

You have all the books, but you don’t have all the answers

When the family falls apart, does religion rebuild?

We go to the services, we read the newsletters, and we have the conferences, raise our hands to our music, and soak up our T.V. and radio shows

The religious argue their views by demeaning yours.

But with all the religious scandals, hype, doctrine debates, it shows how far we’ve fallen

We don’t find hope today from the T.V. ministry, asking for more money,

like their God runs low of money.

The religious think its God given power to send all of their opponents to hell fire

Earning brownie points with their secret society

Those with religious pride, sees people good, bad, holier, or really evil

Changing sides love see all the same

There’s only one savior per person, per life and you ain’t it

Your religion didn’t save me but your God did
