One Nation over God

It all started with a dream that they would leave their country breakdown

And create a nation built upon God.

They trusted God for their lives; they gave us a legacy that pointed to God.

A few hundred years later look at what we have done.

The fear of being under God has us running. We don’t want prayer in schools

we’ll have take a blessing. Christian T.V. has become gambling for the saved.

Intellectuals in other countries find their way to God,

While America twist science to disprove God.

The words “under God” are offensive to some, humbling to others.

Maybe we have turned our backs on God, which is why America is so lonely.

We demand when we are hungry but we push the hand that is trying to feed us.
