Love Came Here for You Too (Revised)

Love left a family, knowing only love

To adopt those forgetting how to love

Born to sleep in a bed of straw for warmth

He came to show the world their worth

Becoming a stranger in his own land

He came to give everything we hold back

We view a modern canvas with dark colors of hatred

An age where family love seemingly disappears

Then again we encountered true love, ignored him sending him to die

Divorce visits, one by one families grow cold

Remembering the one day that free will shook our nation’s families

Forgetting that in one day free will saved every family

Despite our isolation, hurt and fear

Through God, the torn is mended, lost families can be found

In the end, unexplained love reveled by unexpected hope

Uncovered the truth that love came here for you too.
