Living in Nashville

Living in Nashville
Inspired by Walking in Memphis

Putting on my shoes on and stepping outside,

Just moved here from the northern states.

Already feels like I moved to another county.

A short drive from TNU I’m downtown.

You can talk to Elvis right off Broadway Street.

Although Graceland is three hours from here.

The only cowboys here are tourist, walking on Broadway looking for the stars.

Endless entertainment, you got techno and hip-hop right off of 2nd Ave.

Freaks and weirdo’s are in thick numbers on Friday nights.

A block away you can jam to county, ska and rock.

It’s great living in Nashville, where everyone has a dream.

Everyone is close to a deal, I mean EVERYONE.

Every Sunday the city goes to church, it doesn’t matter if your saved you still go to church.

I head down I-40 to Bellevue everyday to work at a place close to Loveless Café.

Don’t forget about O’ Charley’s and Opry Mills.

There is always something waiting on you down in Nashville.
