Some say follow after me, other say be free and create

Still some use a songbook to show the way

Learning each song may be difficult, Frustration and patience is tested

The persistence of learning is paid off when our song book is closed and the master artist writes your song within his book

Don’t despair in life as the song takes you high or low

The numerous keys will unlock the rest found

with the completed dreams of the master artist

The risk is higher of a few flats when playing more keys but the melody

in the end creates the peace of knowing who you are

Some go from high octaves to low while others stay stuck in the comfort of the middle playing one key in fear of the failure seen with playing many

Dedication to getting through the trial of a song creates the wisdom needed

to finish the next

When your talents have been used according to the master’s way, many will follow and learn their song among the piano we all play.

The harmony of life isn’t always found in the beauty of a note

But it’s the array of our experiences expressed as a song.

Our life is like a concert of songs and each song can be difficult to learn

Just as the keys of a song take us high and low and we risk making a few flat notes,

We discover freedom in the song, moving away from the comfort of the middle as it takes more then just hitting the right notes to play a song, its takes heart and soul.

So as we play on the piano, remember that our songs are heard by those around us and even when the song ends, the master artist takes our song into his book.
