Close Encounter

An abandoned solider finding home

A guitar meeting its strings

Were a smile and a good word meet

A part becoming complete

A song hearing its lyrics for the first time

Our conversations are few, little about you did I know

I wish when despair comes, that your smile will never die

Hurt fails when your words echo

Do not give up, I pray this poem sees you through

Images of a painful accident vanish

As it was no accident when hope found its faith

I cannot forget about heaven with such a close encounter to an angel
