Fused Separation

I would come home full of wounded dreams, praying above for hope.

Broken home, searching desert streams, asking for love.

I got lost in memories of the past.

Remember all the pain like the two were attached.

Every time I think about you and your narrow ways, I put the pain back on front display.

The religious God couldn’t set me free, instead fused the hurt deeper inside me.

Seeing you again will always be my fear, living to hold back these tears.

Despite all these years your memories are clearly here.

Why does the rerun happen?

Every thought has emotion attached to them.

It starts with hearing your name, I can’t separate.

I can never be the same again; I’m handed over to fate.
