God you know my deepest desire

You know I’m overflowed with doubt

Though I carry little faith you have in mind that you in the you and I.

Bring me someone who carries more than skin beauty.

Guard my heart against lust as it quickly kills the soul

Heal the past wounds so I’ll be free to trust in love.

Grant me the peace to accept rejection.

Fill me with wisdom to walk towards or away.

Show me love today so I can show it as well.

Humble me as pride destroys community.
