He Came For That Too

Listen to  He Came For That Too

Love came into this world unnoticed

Hidden by the mask of subtlety

Love was destined to give everything he had

To those who received sent him to a hill

He came for that too

Love still goes unnoticed to this very day

Long after he was introduced to the world

As fires rage from the passion of hatred

And a lonely child says “what’s life worth”

He came for that too

Torn country and torn hearts

With only one way to mend

One hope, one love, one joy

One baby lying in a manger then

He came for that….too

Instrumental while “Love Came Here for You Too” Poem is read

Love left a home, knowing only love

He came to adopt those forgetting how to love

Born to sleep in a bed of straw for warmth

He came to show the world their worth

Becoming a stranger in his own land

He came to give everything we hold back

Our world is a canvas painted with the colors of hate

We live in an age where true love seemingly disappears

We once encountered true love, we ignored him sending him to die

Love exchanged for religion, one by one our faith grows cold

We often remember 9/11, one day free will changed our life’s.

Forgetting that God’s free will in one day changed our world

Despite our isolation, hurt and fear

In God, the torn is mended, broken lives our restored

We discover in the end, unexplained hope reveled by unexpected love

Uncovered the truth that love came here for you too.

He came for that

He came for me

He came for you
