Day Of Change

Normal and peaceful was the way life was going

Oddly something happened on that blue September 11 morning

Gone were our ‘secured’ lives and personal pride

But God showed us he is forever at our side

Sadness for all who were dying

All from the daily occurrence of planes flying

Two buildings that were symbols of money and power

Fell to the ground for they were just a man- made tower

Across the nation, locked were the stores

Churches graciously responded with open doors

With a great man with a great plan

A call for revival swept across the land

On that day our life and country changed

May the God of freedom have complete eternal reign
