Prayer #3

God you know my deepest desire
You know I’m overflowed with doubt
Though I carry little faith you have in mind the you in you and I
Bring me someone who carries more than skin beauty
Guard my heart against lust as it quickly kills the soul
Heal my past wounds so I’ll be free to trust in love
Grant me the peace to accept rejection
Fill me with wisdom to speak and live your way and when to be silent.
Show me love today so I can show it as well.
Humble me as pride destroys community.
Give me my desires only if you see it fit.
