One Prayer Away

 

I lived my life away from God

Pain, sorrow, and depression filled my life

Without God, emptiness was what I got

God would not let me go without a fight

I was only one prayer away

 

One prayer was all it took

It gave me a true light

God showed himself in a book

The book gave me sight

God showed me where to look

I found insight

To think, everyone is just one prayer away

 

When people live in desperation

It is because they are living in separation

 

Do not ignore giving help to anyone’s soul

Love, Joy and Peace is our goal

 

Although the world may treat you with hate

You know the keeper of eternity’s gate

I was saved from fate, so please do not wait

 

They search for what is right

Their just one prayer away from knowing the meaning of life
